In addition to wafers and baking tongs, machine construction and plant engineering are traditionally core expertise areas of Waffel Löser - which means they are fixed elements of our dual strategy.

Pioneering spirit, dauntlessness and innovativeness were what breathed life into our company and these qualities continue to drive our development to this day. We still create the most complex solutions based on a very simple idea: everything that is conceivable must also be doable.

Whether baking irons, punch or cutting mechanisms or entire baking machines are required: our technicians and engineers conceive, design and produce all machinery and equipment required for the production of wafers. We know that experience and expertise naturally expand, and we believe it is logical that this should happen within the company.

In this way, we have developed a broad range of expertise which we are happy to extend to our customers' production lines if required. After all, Löser not only bakes wafers: if commissioned to do so, we can take on the entire handling operation at the interface to subsequent processing.

Prototyping

We have been involved in plant engineering and machine construction for almost 60 years. One outcome of this is a pool of know how and technology of which we are justifiably proud. After all, it has set milestones in the industry and provided the foundation for a healthy, agile and successful company - an excellent basis for ongoing optimisation and further development. And it guarantees precise realisation of customer wishes.

60 years of experience also has an effect on the culture of the company and its staff: there is virtually no problem we have not yet had to solve. Expertise and experience create an atmosphere of calm and composure because they increase one's confidence in one's own abilities.

We also channel these abilities into another key focus of our work:
prototyping based on a 5-step production development process. First comes the drawing, followed by a plastic dummy. The next step is a pre-production sample made of wafer mixture and produced using a manual baking iron. Then the sample wafer is produced using a baking iron which is almost ready for serial use. This subsequently goes into the testing station and after successful completion of the test series it is installed in a chain to create real manufacturing conditions.
